This famous (or infamous) 14-piece puzzle is so old it's described in manuscripts attributed to the Greek mathematician Archimedes. With the Tangram-like pieces, it's possible to form up to 536 different squares, yet making even one is incredibly difficult. This version is all wood, 5 1/2" square in its wood frame. Leave it out for family, friends, and visitors to try. You can also make many other interesting shapes from the pieces. Solutions are included, thank goodness. Ages 3 and up.
