After many requests, Sylvia Shaw Judson's popular Bird Girl is now available piped to function as a fountain. Sculpted in 1936, the wistful Bird Girl became famous overnight when she was featured on the cover of John Berendt's best-selling book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (and later appeared in the movie). Cast from a durable, weather-resistant mix of fiberglass, resin, and marble with a softly aged finish, she's captivating. Fountain measures 37 1/2" tall and weighs 26 lbs. Due to weight and size, an extra shipping charge applies. No rush delivery or gift box. Pump and basin are not included.
Item can only be shipped within the Continental US.
Extra shipping charges for this item: +$19.95.
Please note: Delivery time for this item is 6-8 weeks.

Review by IguanaGal on 04/02/22 review stating Hauntingly beautiful
We bought this fountain because we fell in love with the original statue when we visited Savannah. The fountain did not come with any directions beyond setting up the basin. It added a beautiful focal point to our growing garden. We have harsh winters in my area so I will be bringing the statue in for protection. My only concern with the fountain right now is that we are missing a piece to connect the statue to the pump. Waiting to hear back from the third party vendor. I wish there would have been detailed instructions on how to hook the statue to the pump so we could be sure what parts are missing.

This is a beautiful work of art. It will be used to make a memorial fountain to my wife who passed away from cancer. I will cherish this piece for a long time.
