In 2012, the art book publisher Taschen released an extra-large (17 pounds!) book about the wildly popular, highly controversial Austrian painter Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), a major work of scholarship containing all of his paintings in glorious reproductions, with essays and commentary by major contributors. The London Sunday Times called it "one of the most covetable art books ever." This 2017 release (HW9462) is smaller in trim size (and "only" 8 pounds) but otherwise almost identical to the 2012 edition. 676 pages, 12½" x 18", 17 lb.
