It's a new way to play the ancient and honored game: with motion. Conceived by industrial designer Adin Mumma, the solid wood board is a wavelike landscape with concave squares that stabilize the pieces and hold them in place. The wood pieces are fitted with weighted chrome bases that cause them to wobble, quiver and lean without tipping over. Awardwinning set is maple and walnut. Board is 15" square. You'll want to leave it out for everyone to admire and try.
