In the winter of 1926-27, Frank Lloyd Wright created several cover designs for Liberty magazine that were judged "too radical" and never published. Among them was the lovely "April Showers." Glass tumblers are printed and kiln-fired with transparent jewel-like colors. Each is 4" high and holds 14 oz. Hand wash recommended. Made in USA. Sold as a pair.

The glasses are very nice and half the price then if you were to buy them from the Frank Loyd Wright Foundation. If you put them in the dishwasher, they come out smeared and spotted. Better to hand wash them!

The rim of the glasses are rough where the etching begins and ends. May have to send it down to smooth it out. (I also have the yellow window glasses and they werent affected that way.) Otherwise they are beautiful.
