Aside from using it in soups or pot dishes, I use it most often to wash berries or small amounts of veggies. I defrost and rinse a handful of blueberries for my smoothies. I hadnt realized its use as a small colander for quick tasks. She is so cute and whimsical, she stays on my counter all the time!

I actually bought two of these as I loved the product so much. I gave one to my husband, who was bemused, and the other to my mother-in-law. I thinkI finally did something right as she loved it too!
