Got this as a birthday gift for our soon to be ten-year-old granddaughter. She just completed a class on planets and space, so I thought she would like to assemble it as a conclusion to her study. Mommy wants help put it together, so a perfect project for them! Its expensive, but got it during the pre-Christmas sales. Something that will last!

An option for lighting the sun by battery or plug-in, might add a better sense of its light effects on the planets. As offered, one has to crank like crazy just to get a flickering and pale emiion. Not educational at all, while it could be more-so.
