I loved them. They inspired a made-up ritual for sending a dear friend off to a new job in a distant part of the state. The three of us--all good friends--met a a restaurant, and I inducted them into an exclusive, secret society called the XF (Excellent Friend) Society. I cut badges from yellow paper, decorated them with secret symbols (cut from glitter paper), made up a perfectly silly set of rules and had them take an oath--loosely based on the Girl Scout oath--to be as luminous as the pearly silver moon, as warm as the golden sun, and as sparkling as the diamond stars. The images are based on one of the Grimm Brothers magic tales. Mostly we laughed ourselves silly. So thanks for the inspiration to create this silly ritual based on your awesome mugs.

I bought this for a blogger friend who reviews books which makes it pretty much the perfect gift. But even if youre not a book reviewer, so much of our lives have reviews attached to them that it would make a great gift for anyone. Really cute!
