The picture is a photo,

The picture is a photo, not translucent. It was disappointing not to be able to see through the glass. On the reverse side is a mirror, too bad. It would have been nicer with a mirror on the bottom of the box.

Notre Dame Rose Trinket Box

The box is lovely. I bought one for myself and two as gifts. However, I didnt realize that the bottom inside the box was also mirrored. I plan to line the bottom with some thick material to avoid unintentionally cracking the mirror.
