Beautiful, useful, steeped in history and tradition. Made in Thailand in a family cooperative, using centuriesold techniques, knives are hand-forged from carbon steel and finished with wood handles. Use the curved Moon Knife (11½" long, 7½" blade) to prepare coconut, watermelon, hard-skinned fruits and meats. Straight-edged Slice Knife (10½" long, 6" blade) doubles as a chef's knife and cleaver for mincing and paper-thin slicing. Set arrives in a bamboo storage box. Hand wash and dry. Over time, the steel will patina.
