Frank Lloyd Wright® Saguaro Forms And Cactus Flowers Art Glass
During the winter of 1926-27, Wright created several cover designs for Liberty magazine that were judged "too radical" and never published. Among them was the intricate and colorful "Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers." This stylized desert landscape was later re-created by Wright for a rug and adapted for an art-glass window now in the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix. Painted with transparent enamels, kiln-fired to prevent fading, framed in wood with wooden stand, it's glorious. 10 ½" x 13 ¼".
