Saris have been called the most beautiful garments in the world. Sewn from pieces of vintage saris, this robe will make you feel like a princess. Each is two layers of pure silk, intricately patterned and richly dyed. Loose and lovely, it fastens with a tie sash and hangs 48 1/2" from shoulders. Due to the vintage fabrics, no two are alike, but the colors will be similar. Sizes S(8-12), M(12-14), L(14-16), XL(16-18). Dry clean. Imported.

This ran VERY small--I wear a Medium to Large and the Large wouldn't even close properly at the belt and gapped. I received this as a Christmas gift and am attempting to exchange it for an XL which hopefully will fit.

Also I noticed many of the squares were not sewn properly so that there were buckles in the fabric and it did not lie flat. Hopefully the next one I get is sewn better. If not it will just be a complete return.

Too bad--it looks nice in the picture, but the reality was something completely different.

The robe itself is beautiful but the material is so thin, flimsy and pieced together with such small seams that they start pulling apart after only a few wearings.
