Often, a sterling silver betrothal ring would be replaced by the same ring in gold on the wedding day. Reproduced from an original in the British Museum dating from the 15th century, our poesy ring is engraved outside with an interlacing pattern, inside with “Yours Onli,” a pledge in Old English spelling.
