Cast Iron Weight Boxes
In the pre-digital age, grocery stores and markets weighed customers' purchases on a balance scale. Your grain, meat, or sugar went on one side, a cast-iron weight or two on the other. Inspired by vintage weights, these boxes don't really weigh 1, 2, and 3 lb., but they're still heavy enough to serve as paperweights. You might also use them to hold coins, paperclips, and other small items. Three sizes: 1 ½" diameter, 2 ¼" diameter, 3" diameter. All 1 ½" high. Choose 1 lb., 2 lb., or 3 lb.
