Frank Lloyd Wright® Larkin Building Plaques
For the Larkin Company Administration Building in Buffalo, New York (1902‑1906; demolished 1950), Frank Lloyd Wright designed a series of panels to embellish the fifth floor balconies. Each was inscribed with three words, sequential in meaning, that encouraged independence of thought and individuality of interpretation. Cast sandstone plaques are inspiring indoors or out, where they will age gracefully. Each is 14"w x 5½"h x ¾"d, about 4 lb., ready to hang from a chain on the back.
