I bought one for a Christmas gift and was so impressed I had to have one for ME. It is lovely on the deck at night. Sets a pretty mood for simple entertaining. I may have to order another SOON!

I honestly have not heard any complaints from my DIL about this gift, just how much she loves it, and uses it alot. I also tried this before giving it to her just to see for myself how it would look lit. I loved it and the prism display it has. Even when placed in a very sunny area will give off some color since this IS a prism effect. The one thing i did try that did not work as well as a real votive/tea candle was one of the battery operated ones they sell now. This really did not show up quite as well as a real flickering candle does. The flickering is part of what creates the very best display of this product. also make certain the votive is cooled/dry before attempting to take it out or you could end up with alot of wax to clean up. It does not take very long for it to cool. Blowing into it helps make it cool faster. Just do not place it IN a cold area for this purpose since any type of actual glass could break this way.
