Rafiki is Swahili for "kind friend," a word befitting these colorful bracelets that do a world of good for families in Kenya. A portion of the proceeds provide food, clothing and schooling to children of the Kenyan women who individually handcraft these bracelets. No two are alike. Each unique bead is made by hand rolling recycled paper dipped in waterproof lacquer. The beads are then strung with golden seed beads on memory wire to gently wrap your wrist.

I bought one for myself and one as a gift. I loved the idea of helping other women! The bracelets are beautiful, very unique and comfortable. (I can't wear alot of jewelry) this jazzes up a casual outfit or night out. When I gave to my daughter in law I told her we were connected by a sisterhood of sorts, helping other women, kindred spirits. Great product, great price!

I gave this bracelet to my sister-in-law who is challenging to find the right gift for. In the past I usually sent a gift card, but since the family moved from Canada to the US Signals.com proved to be a better option. She LOVED this bracelet and wears it with everything.
