Jackie spoke candidly to historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr. about her life with JFK. She talked about her husband's political career and his relationships with his family (including his brothers Robert and Ted.) No one knew JFK better than Jackie. The interviews provided unique insights into not only the presidency, but the man himself.

Jacqueline Kennedy never again spoke so openly about her husband. The tapes themselves were sealed and deposited in the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, with the instruction that they were only to be unsealed 50 years after Jackie's death. The graphic design, "May Basket", was one of twelve magazine covers designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1927 for Liberty magazine. Although they were not published at that time, these designs have proved to be timeless. The design depicts fruits, flowers, and streamers of ribbon adorning a May basket. Interpreted here on glass in kiln fired enamels it has the feel of the original colored pencil drawing. Framed in copper, arrives with its own wood stand. 10" square.
